Guwahati → Kaziranga (250 km | approx. 4 hrs)

Welcome to Northeast India! Your representative meets you at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and transfers you directly to the legendary Kaziranga National Park — UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros.

Check in to your forest-edge resort and spend the afternoon strolling local villages ringed by emerald tea gardens. As evening falls, head to the Orchid Park for a vibrant cultural performance showcasing Assam's folk traditions (entry included).

Day 02 :

Kaziranga Jeep Safari → Shillong (300 km | approx. 6 hrs)

Rise before dawn for your included jeep safari through Kaziranga's Central (Kohora) Zone. Scan the golden grasslands for the iconic one-horned rhino — the park is also home to half the world's genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1,000 wild elephants, Royal Bengal Tigers, and 500 species of birds including the majestic Crested Serpent Eagle.

Cherrapunjee (Sohra) — Waterfalls & Caves

Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth, rewards early risers with magical misty mornings. Spend the day exploring its world-class waterfalls: the thundering Nohsngithiang (Seven Sisters) Falls, India's tallest plunge waterfall Nohkalikai, and lesser-known gems like Prut Falls, Mawsawdong, and Lyngsiyar Falls.

Venture into the limestone caves — Arwah Cave and Mawsmai Cave are particularly impressive. Every viewpoint reveals another layer of Meghalaya's extraordinary landscape. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

Laitlum Canyons → Shillong → Guwahati (90 km | approx. 2.5 hrs)

This morning brings one of the tour's most dramatic moments: Laitlum Canyons in the East Khasi Hills. The name means 'end of hills' — and standing at the canyon rim, staring into sweeping gorges and winding stairways that disappear into lush valleys far below, you understand exactly why.

Drive back through Shillong for shopping at Police Bazar — pick up local textiles, cane crafts, and Meghalayan honey. Then continue to Guwahati where an optional Brahmaputra river cruise (with dinner) offers a spectacular finale to your Northeast adventure.

Guwahati City Tour → Departure
