Jaipur Arrival | Transfer to Ranthambore

Your Ranthambore tiger safari begins as you arrive at Jaipur Airport or Railway Station, where our representative greets you and transfers you to a comfortable private vehicle for the drive to Ranthambore — approximately 175 km, taking around 3 hours through the Rajasthan plains and then into the forested hills surrounding the reserve.

Ranthambore National Park is one of India’s most celebrated Project Tiger reserves, famous worldwide for its Bengal tiger population and for offering some of the highest tiger sighting rates of any protected forest in the country. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and settle into the distinctive atmosphere of a jungle destination — where birdsong replaces traffic and the sounds of the forest begin immediately. Relax in the evening and rest well before your first morning safari. Overnight in Ranthambore.

Day 02 :

Ranthambore Tiger Safari | Full Day at the Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart for your first morning tiger safari at Ranthambore National Park. Morning safaris are the most productive time to spot tigers — big cats are most active in the early hours, often seen patrolling waterholes, resting on forest roads, or moving through the open grasslands that surround the park’s lakes. Your naturalist guide will read the forest for signs — alarm calls from deer, scratch marks on trees, pug marks in the dust.

Choose between a Gypsy safari (private 4x4, ideal for serious wildlife photography and intimate sightings) or a Canter safari (open 20-seat vehicle, excellent for groups and a more panoramic jungle experience). Safari costs are paid directly at the park (Gypsy: ₹1,800/person | Canter: ₹1,200/person). Return to the hotel after the safari, enjoy lunch at leisure, and spend the afternoon resting, birdwatching around the lodge, or exploring the local village. Overnight in Ranthambore.

Day 03 :

Morning Safari | Ranthambore to Jaipur | Departure

Rise early for your second morning tiger safari at Ranthambore National Park — a second chance in the forest always yields different sightings and experiences. Even if your first safari produced a tiger encounter, the second safari often brings surprises — a leopard on a rocky outcrop, a sloth bear foraging at the forest edge, or a massive mugger crocodile on the banks of Padam Lake.

After the morning safari, return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. In the afternoon, depart for Jaipur — approximately 175 km, arriving in the evening. Your Ranthambore tiger safari concludes at Jaipur Airport or Railway Station, carrying with you the extraordinary memory of India’s most famous tigers in their ancient jungle home.

Important Notes & Safari Tips

Safari Booking & Park Regulations

Ranthambore National Park is closed from July to September each year. Plan your visit between October and June.
Safari zone allocation is done by lottery / government portal — your preferred zone cannot be guaranteed in advance.
All visitors must carry a valid government-issued photo ID for park entry. Foreign nationals must carry passport.
Mobile phones must be on silent mode inside the park. Flash photography is strictly prohibited.
Maintain absolute silence on safari — loud voices disturb wildlife and reduce sighting opportunities.
No plastic bags, food, or beverages other than water are allowed inside the national park.
Children under 5 years are not permitted inside Ranthambore National Park on safari.

Safari Timing & Wildlife

Morning safari: approx. 6:00–6:30 AM start (varies by season). Safari duration: approximately 3 hours.
Tiger sighting is never guaranteed — wildlife encounters depend on natural animal behaviour and forest conditions.
Best months for tiger sightings: October to April. Peak hot season (May–June) also offers good sightings near water.
Carry binoculars and a zoom lens for the best wildlife photography experience.

Transport & Distances

Jaipur to Ranthambore: approximately 175 km / 3 hours. Vehicles are Sedan (2 Pax) or Ertiga (6 Pax).
Sedan and Ertiga vehicles do not have a luggage carrier — travel light. Large luggage may need to travel in a separate vehicle.
Please follow the driver’s timings. Safari timing is strict — the park gate opens and closes at fixed times.
